The George Hotel is ideally situated for the Lymington to Yarmouth Car Ferry Terminal. Ferries run every half an hour from April-December, January March a winter timetable operates. The crossing takes half an hour and it is possible to travel as a foot passenger. Ferries on the hour from Yarmouth connect with the fast train service to London with an approximate Journey time of 2.5 hours from London to Yarmouth.
